EG signs agreement to acquire Ajour System A/S

Today EG, a leading Nordic software company, announced the signing of an agreement to acquire the Danish software company Ajour System A/S.

Ajour System specializes in Software-as-a-Service for the construction industry, including software for all parts of the construction process.

“We want to enable companies within the construction sector to become more effective, improve quality and reduce their environmental footprint. The acquisition of Ajour System will strengthen our ability to do that”.

Ajour System provides software for builders, contractors, architects, and engineering companies with a focus on quality assurance, document management, as well as a platform for managing BIM objects and BIM data. The core products are Ajour Build and Ajour Content.

Together, we are strengthening our offering for both small, medium-sized, and large companies including software for cost estimation, project management, quality assurance, and BIM”, says Aleksander Bjaaland, SVP, EG Construction.

Since mid-2019, EG has invested more than DKK 2 billion in Nordic vertical software companies.
Ajour System is EG’s seventh software company acquisition in the construction industry since 2019 and Ajour System will be part of EG’s business unit, EG Construction, which serves the construction industry in the Nordic countries.

EG signed the agreement to acquire Ajour System A/S on 15 February 2022. Closing is subject to customary regulatory approvals.
